Mustard Pendant

The pendant pictured here is made in a technique known as off mandrel so essentially it is not a bead but it does have a means of attatching to the silk cord. I have a small bead to slide for length adjustment. Firstly there is a backing of clear glass, then black, then reactive raku and finally a clear lens above the raku colour which has struck to a lovely mustard shade.
Measuring 30mm across and 13mm deep this is a lovely piece to wear as a chocker or at maximum length which is 26".
Hand made in my Busselton studio in the southwest of Western Australia.
